Mine is the same through USAA in NC, I have the minimum coverage (liability) and have been riding less than a year. Also I have no accidents or tickets on my car insurance either for over 10 years (I am 26). I do not know how much difference that makes.
As a side note, I bought my Savage in VA around FT. Eustis.
